About Me

Hi! I am a mother of three. I have two handsome boys that some days take my breath away, and other days take my hair away. I have a little girl that melts my heart. I have a loving husband, which most would call redneck, but I call charming. That is us the Barrow's! Plain and trying to be simple... Jon, Natalie, Jerome(6), Remington(3), and McKayla(2).

We are living...

Hi everyone! How are you all? We are living from day to day but that is better then some in this country.

Jon is STILL looking for work! Sometimes it feels that we will never get work. He is registered for classes for next semester. He is enjoying his classes and is excited for the jobs that should be awaiting us when school is done.

I am selling card for a few bucks here and there, but every little bit helps. I am holding down the fort! =)

Jeromeis loving school. He is learning SO much. He is excited for Christmas to come as he sees lights going up around town and displays set up in the stores.

Remington is talking. Talking so much that you just don't know what to do when you have a quit moment. He is learning at a rapid speed, repeating everything Jerome does and says and that... wel... it isn;t always a good thing.

McKayla is crawling. I am so excited to see her move. Soon she will be walking and then I will probably think that she should be back to where she is today. =)

My First Craft Fair!

I had my fisrt craft fair selling my cards! I had a bunch of fun and learned so much too.

Wednesday, September 23, 2009

Jon has been in school for awhile now. He is just starting to climb. They are climbing there first wind mill tomorrow and he is way excited (200 feet up... not the job for me). But... I am proud of him and I am so glad that is like it. No word on work though. We are still looking.

I am selling my card. I am trying to get nab-a-card up and going. I have my first craft fair the first weekend in November. I am way excited, a bit stressed, and a lot over whelmed!

Jerome started school on his birthday a few weeks ago and Is enjoying the interaction with other kids. He is learn lots about manners and how to act around other people. He is growing so fast.

Remington has a mouth full of teeth now but he is still working on some ruff ones. He is starting to talk and say cute little works here and there. I love to hear him say grandma. Those moment's make having kids worth it.

McKayla will be crawling before you know it. She is really getting around. She is starting to push teeth. Her hair is getting longer which makes me excited to play with her hair. Girls are fun!

That is what is up with us for now!

The Begining and The End!

We are no longer in Idaho Falls any more. We are living in Twin Falls with my dad. Jon is working here and there for temp services. Jon starts school on Monday. The end of our bad luck is coming to what appears to be a stand still. I hope with all my might the good stuff for our family is on the horizon!

Things just aren't working out.

We are moving the end of this month (July). We have been trying to get a job since November when Jon was laid off. With no prospects, we have not a penny to our names and bills are not being paid. So Jon is registered for school (CSI). He starts Aug. 24. We will be living with my dad and trying to get a hold of our lives and crawl back out of this hole we are in.

I Hope Thing Pan Out!

So we are still looking for a job for Jon. But we have two possible interviews! That is the most we have hear about any jobs since November of last year. Job has applied for CSI in Twin Falls, I hope that pans out too. In the mean time Jon is work every old job he can get his hands on to make the rent.

Jerome is working hard in his therapy sessions, I hope that pans out too. He is still wild, still outgoing, and still my baby.

Remi is starting to do those cute funny things that kids do to send you into laughing fits.

McKayla is smiling and laughing more then ever. She is a sweet angel!

I am Serving! Hoping things will PAN OUT!!!

Still Looking!

So we have been unemployed since November of last year now. It is hard to keep your hopes up but I guess there is a time and season for everything. It is only a matter of time. Jon has been appling to jobs left and right. He is the one that is coming depressed and I hope he know we love him and we know he is trying his hardest. So... to all you out there that look at this keep your eyes open for job openings, we are willing to relocate! =)

Through the Ups & Downs!

I haven't written for a few weeks. Not much has changed, even though I am praying that it will change for the better.

McKayla is starting to make those soft, sweet nosies that make you turn to moosh. At that very moment her little figure has both her momma and daddy rapped so tight around it. She has the hole world at her finger tips and she doesn't even have any knowledge of it. I just hope she knows that she can do anything she wants to.

Remington... is a monster right now. He is so sweet, a big teddy bear. But those terrible twos are on it's way. He is starting to talk. It is so cute when "ot oh" comes flying out of his mouth, when something unexpected happens. He is growing up FAR too fast!

Jerome... Wild cave man comes to mind when I says his name, but he is my baby none the less. There are good days and there are bad days. We try to survive the bad days and we enjoy ever second of the good days! There are few good days but they are priceless! The therapy, I question these days, I don't think it is working anymore... but they say give it time. Jerome has found a love for worms lately with all the rain. It has given him something to do lately (picking worms).

Jon is working so hard just to pay the bills that are "have to" pay bills. I am SO proud of him for all the hard work he is doing... even though I know he HATES each minute of it. It is getting SO hard I don't know how we would make it without my family... Well we wouldn't. We thank those who have helped. ; )

That is use right now. Just trying to live through the ups and downs.

Sunday Drive

Yesterday we went for a Sunday drive and stopped at my in-laws for a quick visit. Jerome was acting like his normal self. The first thing he wants after arriving was to go for a 4-wheeler ride.
Grandma said "Wait a few minutes and Grandpa will take you once he is done watering the field."
Jerome gasps with excitement, "I will get the keys!"
(For those of you who don"t know; the keys are on a hook up high next to the refrigrator in the kitchen.)
Grandma confidently states, "He won't be able to get them there are to high."
(Jon & I both look at each other and laugh... " Oh, yes he can!".)
Jerome shortly runs out the back door holding the keys to the 4-wheeler in his hand.
Grandma childishly comments, "At least he doesn't know how to start it!"
(Jon & I both look at each other again knowing Jerome's intelligence... "We'll see.")
Less then three minutes we hear the engine start with a roar. Jerome was sitting on a running 4-wheeler by himself!
Jon & I laugh as Grandma's eye bulge with astonishment!!!
I find it amazing how smart kids are. Jerome one smart cookie!

For Cry'n Out Loud!!!

Stressed!!! Extremely Stressed!!!

Fact: When one of my kids have a tantrum they ALL start going (ALL AT THE SAME TIME).

Jerome has O.D.D. (Obsessive Defiant Disorder). It is a chemical imbalance. So I guess it isn't always his fault all the time, but he always starts the chain reaction. He has good days and bad days. Yesterday was amazing! Manners on occasion, well behaved for the most part, no extreme violent behavior to anyone. I was shocked were did my son go and where did this one come from. I am not use to normal kid behavior. Yesterday was a Great day... it must have been to much to ask for, for it to happen twice. Jerome was back to his same old self today!

I sometime wonder if all this therapy is helping. They are adding a PSR counselor and I hope with all my might it helps.

Getting to know more....

I guess, a picture says a thousand words... So, I feel I need to write more.

So here is our story...

Jon and I met on a blind date snowmobiling in 2002. We got married on November 2, 2003. We got to know each other better and a few years later Jerome William Barrow was born on September 15, 2005 (now 3 years old). Jerome weighted 6lbs 10oz and was 20 inches long. After a few bumps in life we tried fertility and got Remington Owen Barrow on February 22, 2008 (now 1 years old). Remi was 6lbs 12 oz and 21 1/2 inches long. Not long after being told we couldn't have any more children, we found out about baby number three. McKayla was born on February 17, 2009 (now 5weeks old). She weighted 7lbs 11oz and was 21 inches long. That is how we came to be Jon & Natalie X3!

We have been sick for the past few very LONG weeks. Jerome has been for the most part healthy. Remi almost got put in the hospital and McKayla has a cold. Jon is healthy and I have had strep. But with all of this, I think that we are on the the up hill end of things!!! It is about time.

Getting The Hang of Things!

Boy is there a difference from two kids to three kids. But, she is so worth it! I am enjoying the dresses and bows, trading in blue for pink and, flowers not trucks; there are so many differences.

Jerome loves "HIS BABY". He just can't seem to get enough of her. Always wanting to help and sometimes it ends up being more of problem then a help. But, he means well. Jerome looks more and more as a little kids and that makes me said, but I guess they have to grow up sometime.

Remington... That is who had the hardest time with McKayla. Remi is no longer the baby... but then again he still is a baby. He is starving for attention, he thinks. It has been quite the change for him. Thankfully he is adjusting well now, with a bump her and there along the way.

McKayla is finally getting on some what of a schedule. Life is so up in the air with two BIG brothers! But... She could not be more loved and adored.

What is cookin'!

Wow, how life is so unpredictable. Why is life so hard on good people (at least I think we are good people)? Why do we always have to learn the hard way? Some time you just have to wonder if God really is watching or if he took a break.

Anyway...

Jerome went to Sunbeams for the first time this Sunday and loved every minute of it. He was worried at first but ended up having a wonderful time. He is such an amazing kid. He has the ability to go so far in life and I just hope that we can give him all the necessities he need to go the distance.

Remington is starting to walk. He is growing so fast. It feel like yesterday he was born and now he is almost one. He is my sweet and chunky teddy bear. He has the softest hard .

I was so blessed with the children I have and amazing husband. Even though at time I may not notice it they are amazing!

A Rollercoaster Ride!

Well, I haven't written in awhile so I guess not much has been going on. I five more weeks left. Then I will finally meet our little girl. I am so excited.

Job hunting sucks! There isn't much out there. I pray that Jon will get a job, and I guess God works in ways we don't always understand.

Jerome is getting excited to get a new baby. I just hope Remi will understand, but I don't think so.
